1. Each presenter talked about their own topic. 2. Presenters (1) Mako Mako talked about her reading. According to her, she was not good at reading because she was guessing the meaning of word unknown to her and this made it slower for her to read. However, when she was a second-grade pupil, during the summer holidays, she read one book again and again, and as a result, her reading problems were solved, and this made her find enjoyment in reading. When she was a high school student, she belonged to a brass band, so she didn't have enough time to read books. And then she decided to read editorials of some newspapers for her university entrance examination.  Now, she adopts some useful ways of reading like this. Firstly, after reading a book, she picks up some points about the book and reread it answering her questions. Secondly, she compares its story with other books or movies. She finds several advantages in these steps, and she is thinking of making use of the skills that sh...

1. Topic ・My strengths and weaknesses ・My goals for the future ・An experience that I've learned from 2. ⑴ Saya The presenter Saya talked about her strengths and weaknesses. She was not sure what they were, so she asked her mother about them. Then she told her that Saya is hasty, a worrier and doesn't hesitate. Firstly, according to her, it takes her 15 minutes to go to shcool, but she makes it a rule to leave home 1 hour before the beginning of school. Furthermore, she's a worrier, so just in case, she always carries a lot of things in her bag such as band-aids, contact lenses and some ointment. Judging from this, it's very safe to say she's an absolute worrier, but I think being prudent is good. Secondly, she told us a person who Saya respects. Her name is Emiri Aizawa, who used to be a hostess, but now she's the president of a company. She says "Everything is up to me.", "Don't compare yourself to others." (I paraphrased.) Saya ...

1. Topic: Success 2. (1) Taisei The presenter, Taisei talked about some famous people, who attained success. Firstly, he talked about Thomas Edison who was an inventor in America. One of the wise sayings is "I have not failed. I've found 10,000 ways that didn't work." Secondly, about Bill Gates who founded Microsoft company and who is a successful business person. Taisei mentioned three key points for success according to Bill Gates. The first one is putting a bluff. He ventures to tell something too difficult to be realized, but he manages to realize it. I have thought Gates is the person who pushes himself to the limit. The second one is being competitive. Since Gates was a child, he has been competitive in every situation. I have thought that trying to be second to none is important for success from this key point of Gates. The third one is deciding a particular theme. I thought the third one is helpful for us to have a sense of purpo...

Furthermore, she used to take piano lessons and exercise through watching Billy's Boot Camp videos. According to her, she had her many likes and dislikes, so she could eat little. At her school, her classmates often had to wait for her to finish eating school meal and sometimes blamed her. However, she has grown up, has few dislikes and now eats a lot. When she was 6 years old, she started dance, and even now she does. More surprisingly, she trains her body through using an exercise wheel . There were a lot of examples in your presentation, it was easier to imagine how your childhood was. (2) Yoshika  The presenter Yoshika talked about how her personality has changed. 1. Topic: Best Friend 2. (1) Yuko  For the presenter Yuko, there are 3 definitions of best friends: help each other, unchanging relationship and relationship that they can live together. She said "best friends give her advice if she is in trouble. The question which she asked us at the end of her presentation, "if you lived in a share house, can you do that?", made us think deeply about friends. In fact, she couldn't. She mentioned her and her father's own experiences and gave a simple presentation in a good way, so I think we audiences understood her ideas about best friend. (2) Mio The presenter Mio has some best friends, who are from elementary school and others. The decisive point for her is whether she can be natural or not. She mentioned a male friend of her, and said "not how he feels about me but how I feel about him is an important thing. "  How we treat or think about people of different gender is sometimes more difficult than that...

People who got cosmetic surgery can be more positive and confident. On the other hand, they may not be able to smile naturally, and there is a possibility of failure. Furthermore, it can cost much money. However, the presenter concluded that cosmetic surgery was not so bad. I think she gave us a great presentation through showing us some materials about cosmetic surgery. 2) The presenter, Yoshika talked about how she could be a good English teacher. She said she was not good at speaking in public and sometimes misunderstood by others, so before becoming an English teacher, she wants to be confident wherever she is.
